BRIAN ENO AND KARL HYDE: HIGH LIFE
A companion piece to their patchy joint album Someday World, High Life reunites Brian Eno and Underworld's Karl Hyde. It's a looser set of tracks and all the better for it, with sprawling excursions into Afro-funk (DBF) and mantra-rock (Lilac), though Hyde's droning verses on the ersatz electronic hymnal Cells & Bells are a sprawl too far.
