BRIAN ENO: THE SHIP
Brian Eno's latest album confirms he still plays by a different set of rules.
Brian Eno, on the other hand, has produced innovative music for more than four decades, and his latest fifty minutes of ambient, sea-swept synth rhythms, spoken word and a spell-binding version of The Velvet Underground's I'm Set Free confirms he still plays by a different set of rules.
It's almost unfair to compare Eno's output to anyone else's - rather these four tracks, inspired by World War I and the Titanic, are as emotive, puzzling and absorbing as classical architecture or great art.
