BRIAN ENO: DAY OF LIGHT

Surprise, surprise, Brian Eno's latest video is an experimental project that involves his fans. Last November, to celebrate the release of his most recent album, Lux, Eno and Warp hosted an audio-visual installment to the public that encompassed four broadcasts of the album using fan-submitted photos that captured the natural light of a full day.

"I think we were all taken aback at the scale of the response: over six thousand pictures!" Eno explains in a press release. "But even more remarkable was the high quality... it made the task of selecting which ones would finally be streamed (there wasn't time to show them all) quite difficult. I was very touched that so many people responded and shared their work."

The video for Day Of Light only collects four minutes' worth of photos, but boy is there a lot to absorb. To paraphrase the ultra cheesy Collective Soul, "let your light shine down".
