BENEDICT CUMBERBATCH AND LOUIS THEROUX JOIN TOGETHER FOR PALESTINE CONCERT
A new wave has been announced for the upcoming show at OVO Arena Wembley which has been organised by Brian Eno
More names have been added to the line-up for Together For Palestine which is taking place at OVO Arena Wembley on September 17, 2025.
The new wave of talent joining the concert includes musicians Celeste and Leigh-Anne, Palestinian-Chilean singer Elyanna, Palestinian musician Saint Levant, Palestinian-Jordanian London-based artist El Far3i, actors Amer Hlehel, Benedict Cumberbatch, Charithra Chandran, Guy Pearce, Jameela Jamil, Motaz Malhees and Ramy Youssef, writer and host Amelia Dimoldenberg, documentarian and broadcaster Louis Theroux, and Holocaust survivor Stephen Kapos.
Portishead have come together to record a special one-off performance of their poignant song Roads with a string quartet, which will be aired during the evening as they are unable to attend in person. Speaking about their involvement, the band explain, "We are incredibly honoured to stand in solidarity with Palestine and be part of this crucial event. The genocide must stop."
Guy Pearce commented, "I feel utterly heartbroken every day witnessing the atrocities inflicted upon the innocent people of Palestine. It's hard not to feel helpless. Being part of this concert will enable me to share my heart with others who also see the injustice in these horrific crimes. More importantly it enables me to show my support for and to the people of Gaza, and all those subjected to this brutal genocide. Hopefully this concert encourages more people to stand up and speak out."
