ENO WILL JOIN UCI FOR NOVEMBER 7 SYMPOSIUM

Musician-producer Brian Eno will be at UC Irvine on November 7 to take part in a symposium with other artists considered innovators in their fields.

Eno, best known for his experimentations in electronic music and his collaborations with David Bowie, Talking Heads, Devo, U2 and other rock acts, will be joined by painter and sculptor Tom Van Sant, graphic artist Wolfgang Weingart, industrial designers Sigmar Willnauer and Anthony Guido and computer graphics artist Rebecca Allen.

Tickets are $65 for the Perspectives '87: Original Vision symposium, which is being sponsored by Art Direction + Design in Orange County.
