Design patterns Eno's latest soundtrack

Music for films? As an extension of Eno's ongoing explorations into generative music and electronic soundscapes, his soundtrack work comes with quality assured. This previously unreleased soundtrack to Gary Hustwit's 2018 documentary about legendary German industrial designer Dieter Rams is no exception. After an unexpectedly discordant opening track - Bright Clouds Of Metal - things settle down into subliminal, atmospheric timbres and tranquil melodic phrases. It's possible to suspect a meta-joke at work behind the song titles - Designer Piano, Shimmering Future, Harmonic Guitar - which sound as randomly generated as the music itself.
